John died 1 Feb 1731-2, Edgartown. He was an innkeeper, and in 1713 was appointed Associate Justice of the County Court. His will of 7 December 1730 was probated 7 Mar 1731-2. Banks adds that he came to Edgartown about 1700.
He is buried at Tower Hill Cemetery.

John Worth was born 19 May 1666, in Nantucket, Massachusetts.(1) He died 11 February 1731/32, in Edgartown, Dukes, Massachusetts.(2) His parents were William Worth and Sarah Macy.(3)

John Worth first married Miriam Gardner on 22 September 1684, in Nantucket, Massachusetts
.(7) Miriam was a daughter of Richard Gardner and Sarah Shattuck.(8) She was born 14 July 1665, in Nantucket, Massachusetts.(9) Miriam Gardner Worth died in 1705 in Nantucket, Massachusetts.(10)

iii. Judith Worth was born 22 December 1689 at Nantucket, Massachusetts. She died 08 November 1767 at Nantucket, Massachusetts. She married John Macy on 25 April 1707.

iv.
John Worth was born in 1691 at Nantucket, Massachusetts. He died on 15 August 1707, in Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts.(19)

v.
Richard Worth was born 27 May 1692, at Nantucket, Massachusetts. He died 15 June 1742, in Nantucket, Massachusetts. He married Sarah Hoag.

vi.
William Worth was born on 27 November 1694 at Nantucket, Massachusetts. He died on 16 October 1780, at Nantucket, Massachusetts. He married Mary Butler who died in October 1756.

vii.
Joseph Worth Senior was born in 1696 at Nantucket, Massachusetts. He died 14 July 1790 at Nantucket, Massachusetts. He married Lydia Gorham.(20)

Mary Worth was born in 1698 at Nantucket, Massachusetts. She died on 11 September 1777.
